The Loving Leadership Project is a long-term research project designed to better understand how people experience loving leadership and how it is perceived as a specific leadership style. Every member of the research team has in some way experienced loving leadership in the workplace and is dedicated to increasing its relevance and visibility in current research.

What is loving leadership? Various studies define it differently, and one task of this project is to determine if there is one good definition that will fit across various contexts. Of course, this will be determined through rigorous research – both qualitative and quantitative. While the research team is embarking on this research odyssey, it is our desire to bring more attention to loving leadership by highlighting other researchers focusing on this topic. The Loving Leadership Project is based on the same principle that we are researching – love. For us, it is important that we remain true to our love of research, our love of the workplace, and extend this love to our fellow researchers, regardless of what institution they are connected with and what aspect of loving leadership they focus on.

We invite you to follow our progress as we learn more about loving leadership, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or would like more information about this project!
